Construction industry is booming. With that comes the urgent need for latest technologies and machineries. Confederation of Indian industry (CII) has come up with the solution under an old name for the 10th time – EXCON.
The 10th edition of EXCON Expo – South Asia’s largest construction equipments exhibition was held at BIEC, Bangalore from 10th-14th December. With over 2000 exhibitors from over 21 countries, the exhibition covered a display area of about 3, 00,000 sq.mts. With the theme, ‘Smart i-Tech – Next Gen India @75’, EXCON was successful in its aim of showcasing the latest technologies and machineries in the construction industry.
Organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) biennially and supported by the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA), the event saw exhibitors from all categories of construction equipments, ranging from aggregate and asphalt equipments to piling equipments and also from prominent companies like JCB, SANY, Bobcat to name a few. Exclusive pavilions were set up to showcase AI, IoT and mechatronics.
In addition to that, the event conducted various conferences and events to recognise companies from the infrastructure sector who have taken proactive steps to enable women to participate in the workforce.
